I never did like the skull on my Grave Popper, so I decided to give her a new one. Here is what she originally looked like.
I replaced it with one of the foam skulls that I received from Nightmare Makers. The first step was to give it a base coat with black spray paint.
Then comes several layers of dry brushing using earth tones working from darkest to lightest. Finishing up with pure white.

I reused the hair from the original skull and hot glued it into place.
Then I wanted to give her one eyeball (it’s kinda “my thing”…I just like the way it looks). I made the eyeball from a roll-on deodorant ball. I added an iris and strands of red yarn for veins and covered the whole thing with clear nail polish.
I thought that she would look more interesting and realistic if her head was tilted to one side.
The finished product. A huge improvement I think.
