Humble Beginnings…In our 2nd year of haunting we moved the store bought foam tombstones (some of which are still in use) from the party in the basement to the yard. We added more lights and pumpkins as well. It was at this time that I built my first prop for the Wallace Manor Halloween Display…the FCG (Flying Crank Ghost).
The FCG is probably the first animatronic prop that most haunters build. It is basically a marionette attached to a cheap motor. It is still in use currently, although the motor and the frame that the “puppet” hangs from have been changed and updated.
